Station Casinos has launched a limited trial allowing players to load funds onto slot machines using Apple Pay on mobile devices. The pilot program is currently operating across Nevada locations while the operator seeks regulatory clearance.

How the Cashless System Works

The new payment method links a player’s debit card to Apple Pay, enabling direct cashless transactions at gaming terminals. Customers can transfer money from their smartphones to individual machines without inserting physical cards or handling cash. Station Casinos confirmed the trial details to the Las Vegas Review-Journal.

Regulatory Review and Expansion Plans

The Nevada Gaming Control Board must approve the digital funding method before the company implements it across its full network. Once the regulatory process concludes, the operator intends to roll out the payment option to additional properties statewide.
